We went recently as a party of four adults for lunch. Excellent food, good value, great service and so good that when we got home we booked for their Scandinavian evening special at 35 per head. Another excellent meal. Highly recommended.

Really nice place. Very high quality ingredients that you can taste. I had the full English and it came with a home made brown sauce which was a new thing for me. The sausage was nice and there was also a chorizo patty which was a bit different. Nice service and good atmosphere. I would recommend booking ahead.

A fantastic restaurant that serves stunning food. We booked a table for 2, for the four of us, and we had the dogs, which were welcomed and looked after. The food is unusual and makes the best use of seasonal items and local produce. Dishes are available in small plate and large plate options, with a great selection of mains and side dishes. We ordered 2 x small plates, 1 x main chicken shawarma and the main version of curry goat. Every dish was delicious and had a slight twist on what you’d expect. Beers were also excellent, as was the top notch cheesecake. Staff were friendly and welcoming and made for an enjoyable experience.

Popped in for a new year's day brunch, dog and gluten free friendly. The food is locally sourced, seasonal and very tasty although I found that there were only a few vegetarian options available. I opted for the mushrooms which were fantastic. I like that they have an option of a small or large portion as I often only want a smaller meal. Overall very good, tasty food with super service.

Honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m not one for taking photos of my food, but this was incredible. Great staff, great atmosphere and delicious meal. Thanks guys!

My husband and I stumbled on this great little restaurant in the heart of historic Shrewsbury. We did the small plate options and shared the pork belly, pheasant, broccoli, and labneh with honey. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious mingling unique ingredients with herbs and spices: a party for your palate. The lemon yum for desert was scrumptious. Service was charming and efficient. We highly recommend.

A very enjoyable experience! Whilst we have dined st CSONS on a previous occasion, which was perfectly fine, today's lunch was memorable for all the right reasons. A warm and friendly welcome preceeded a wonderfully cooked and presented series of dishes that our small dining party thoroughly enjoyed. Particular highlights were the pork belly, arancini and steak mains. We shall return.

A sunny April day...we thought it was a shame to be indoors but wow...not once did we complain. This place is amazing! Our first visit and we will be back. Fabulous seasonal food, amazing service, a little quirky and perfect clean. We had small plates and shared the dishes. I glad we did. Missing out on some of the options would have been a shame. Congratulations to all the staff!
